In this episode of the Sci-Fi Webcomic Far From Home: Jake’s Dad is left alone to his thoughts.
Well, we finally get to see what Jake’s Dad’s name is: Mark.
I’ve never had kids myself but, let’s just say I have it on very good and numerous authorities that most parents have had thoughts similar to Mark’s at one time or another.
The closure of this section of the current story arc dovetails nicely with the fact that I’m going to be moving during the next two weeks. If all goes well, the next section of this arc will continue starting Monday, January 30th.
Catch you all later,
Mike

Just found the comic, and I gotta say, I like it. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Zibodiz!
Oh yeah, all parents have had those thoughts. The difference between a good parent and a bad parent is that good parents only “think” of putting their kids out the airlock.
Yeah, that’s what I’m told. I wasn’t sure about using that line until I talked with a few folks who were parents.
Yes, but having him clean the inside of the missile launchers is a perfectly feasible option. You get the knowledge that with just the push of a button the child would be gone, but since he knows that too you don’t have to do it. And the mother probably wouldn’t even wonder how her son got so filthy.
A perfectly sound idea. Unfortunately, the Ariel carries no ordnance of any kind. But I’m sure Jake’s Dad will figure something out.
Well, I tried =]
