Why Mighty Martian Studios?
As a kid I created my very first comic book character, “The Mighty Martian”. This was my response to the local bullies’ unending pleasure in changing my last name from Martin to Martian. It was the first attempt I can remember of trying to turn a negative into a positive.
It’s funny. I only vaguely remember what “The Mighty Martian” looked like but the name has stuck with me my entire life.
About Mike Martin:
Mike Martin is a dabbler in art and writing who happens to like comics. He’s had stories running around in his head for years and has only now gotten around to doing anything about it.
His favorite art joke is “I’m an artist . . . I draw flies!”
About Far From Home:
Far From Home began in the dark recesses of my mind while I worked a monetarily rewarding but mind-blowingly dull job. I had lots of time to think and what I thought about were stories. Far From Home has been written from beginning to end in my little ‘noggin and now it’ s time to put it out there.
No spoilers! As the story progresses, I’ll post more about what it’s about, including plot synopsis and character profiles.
